Yard Art, Coronado, San Diego, CA. Some people have pink flamingos, some people have frogs playing violins. Posted by Picasa

Coronado Beach, San Diego, CA. We saw these two women walk by with this kite shaped like a "junk" and later found them flying it on the beach. Posted by Picasa

Mission Beach, San Diego. I found this random beach art for Valentine's Day. Posted by Picasa

Balboa Park, San Diego, CA. The America's Cup! No, just a remote control sailboat in the fountain at Balboa Park. I always get the urge to create a tidal wave when I see one of these.... Posted by Picasa

Mission Beach, San Diego, CA. The setting sun has lit up this jet trail. Amazing. Posted by Picasa

Mission Beach, San Diego, CA. No, these are not a street cleaner's apparatus. Instead, they belong to a street artist who sweeps sand into patterns. See the next picture. Posted by Picasa

Mission Beach, San Diego, CA. Look carefully at the street. You may be able to make out two giant ears in the foreground of the picture, and the rest of the familiar face of Mickey Mouse in the middle left part of the foreground. The Belmont Park rollercoaster is in the background, as well as the RV of the sand artist who swept the street sand into this pattern. Posted by Picasa
