First impressions...Seattle

We've been sleeping with the windows wide open (the way we found them). It's cool and slightly humid, and wonderful. The room, which we found through Airbnb.com is great, and our hostess couldn't be more accommodating, picking us up at the light rail station, driving us to a great seafood restaurant the first night. We return there with Rick after we pick him and his hiking partner at White Pass.

Bob declined dinner out, saying he had to get ready for his next 100 mile hiking trip in Jasper, Canada...so the three of us celebrated Fred's birthday!
